HighTech Kaunas Cluster Representative Joined Business Mission to Singapore
In October 2025, a Lithuanian business delegation participated in a mission to Singapore, organized by Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Singapore and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). The mission aimed to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Lithuania and Singapore, explore the local innovation ecosystem, and identify new export and collaboration opportunities in the Southeast Asian region.
The delegation included representatives from various Lithuanian industries, among them the HighTech Kaunas Cluster, which unites technology-driven organizations from the Kaunas region. The cluster’s participation focused on promoting Lithuania’s expertise in advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, and smart technologies, as well as exploring opportunities for cooperation with Singapore’s innovation ecosystem.
During the mission, the participants visited several leading organizations, including the DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center, where they learned about the latest supply chain transformation and logistics strategies, and PSA Corporation, which presented Singapore’s port digitalization and innovation initiatives. The delegation also visited A*STAR – Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where advanced manufacturing technologies and effective collaboration models between science, business, and the public sector were introduced.
The mission’s program included participation in the Europe Conference: Sustainability, Innovation, Digital Trade, organized by SBF, which brought together more than 300 companies from Europe and Singapore. Discussions focused on sustainability, innovation, and digital trade, and delegates took part in numerous B2B meetings to establish new business connections.
The Lithuanian delegation also attended Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC 2025, one of the region’s leading events dedicated to advanced industries. The exhibition explored key topics including digital manufacturing, robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, and sustainable industrial development. During the event, Lithuania presented its innovation ecosystem and investment potential under the theme “Industry Transformation in the Asia-Pacific Region.”
Participation in this business mission provided the HighTech Kaunas Cluster with valuable insights into the global technology landscape and allowed the cluster to establish new international contacts with organizations from Singapore and beyond. The experience will contribute to the cluster’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation, strengthen international cooperation, and promote the Kaunas region as an emerging center for high technology in the Baltic States.
